I’m planning on setting some Easter eggers on the 13th. Anybody with me? They will be buff colored and adorable :wee I’m better at duckies and haven’t had ANY luck with chickens yet :he but this time I’m really going to commit! The last times I’ve tried it I’ve had duck eggs in with them, and I’m sure that doesn’t help much:caf

3, almost 4 weeks. I've had a roo start crowing a few days ago though. Surprised me!!! I've got 9 "I dont know what they ares" in 2 pens.
I can't sex my chicks for another few weeks, they're only 8 days old the anticipation is killing me!

I will be joining in. The dark side tempted me and I have Isbar eggs being shipped out today, I should have them Monday and placed in incubator on Tuesday. Silly me, I thought I was going to clean and store the incubators until spring.
Yes come to the dark side and join us... :lau trust me after my last batch of ducklings I thought I was done for the season too, but a family friend asked me to hatch some eggs from their chickens and I just couldn’t say no!

Quail chicks (is that what you call them? :idunno) are the cutest things! I want to plan for Dec 4. What kind of qualiens do you have?
I've got 12 Bobs that are 8-9 wks old, 18 "assortment" that are 3-4 wks old, 85 Pansy, Sexlink & Feather-sexable in the Incubator. My assortment hatched out several Tuxes, a Tibetan, a couple Rosettas & Scarlets, a White, a couple Pharaohs, an Egyptian, 2 Silvers & a Gray/Blue looking one.... we call them DUMB "quailies", because they're so cute!
