December Writing Prompts!

I'm a little late, but I really like writing and I could always do with some prompts! If you'd like to participate, just post a post down below with your newest prompt. These are short story prompts as well, so not super long. Anyway here are the prompts! I'll post a new one each day.
Dec 1 - "It's too early to decorate -.-"

1 - I cannot believe my eyes. The neighbors have already decorated! It's barely December!
"Kristy!" I call, wondering if she'd seen it yet. She walked in, tilted her head, and asked, "What's wrong? What's going o-" She had seen it. "It's outrageous, isn't it? It's way too early-" I started, but she was already laughing. That's a bit suspicious... I glared at her, waiting for her to stop giggling. She calmed down and said, "I've already put our lights up!"

2 - I waltzed through the stores, looking at every single object on every single shelf. "Mom would like that" I thought, looking at a decoration. And then I came to that store. Bath and Bodyworks. That store was always too overwhelming. The smells, the options, how did people enjoy being in there? I knew that Chloe did, but still... I slowly walked in, not letting my senses get the best of me. I immediately saw something that caught my eye. A bright pink candle. It smelled of cherry and rose. "Ooohhh mom would really like this," I whispered. I picked it up, bought it, and ran out of that store. Hopefully I won't have to go back there anytime soon.

3 - Something was a bit strange about the house. It smelled nicer than normal. "Hey mom?" I asked, wandering into the room. She looked at me. "Why does it smell so good?" I queried. She pointed to a candle in the room. Probably from her collection. I looked a bit closer and... a Christmas Tree candle? Where did she even get this? I didn't even ask, I just walked out of the room with the beautiful scent lingering in the air.

4 - Katie walked in with a bit more joy than what was normal for her. Everyone in the room immediately stared at her head, which was host to a bright, red hat with white trimming. She was actually pulling it off somehow. She handed everyone a cookie, in the shape of a Christmas tree, and left the room. Quite peculiar, but not strange for Katie. At least she was in the spirit!
