Decision?

Recently purchased trio of giant buff cochin. In the last 7 days the two hens have laid 5eggs. The hens show no sign of setting. How long should I wait before making a decision whether I should put the eggs in the incubator or just take a chance of the hens setting. Thanks, Victor

You cannot predict when a hen will go broody. Some hens never go broody. If you want to hatch the eggs take them and incubate them. If she goes broody give her some eggs to set.
