Decisions, decisions. Straight run or all cockerels?

I'm psyched with the results of the first trial balloon, so I want to order 50 for delivery week of August 23rd.

Just not sure if I should go with straight run or all male?

I guess the 18 cent price differential is far outweighed by the size differential of roos versus hens.

So, its a no brainer, really!

I always get the roos.

But a few hens would be OK too, for when I want a smaller bird.

for freezer camp I go with all roos.. if I need some layers I will either go straight run.. or get all roos except for 5 or 6 pullets.. so the pullets really depends on which breed it is and if i want to add any into my breeding program
