I raise Silkies in three colors, white, BBS and buff. In June I found myself with a lot of time on my hands [IMG]. I had just finished a new coop.

It looked like it needed something to balance the white lattice. I decided to try my hand at painting a Silkie using white and black house paint that I had on hand.
[IMG] [IMG] I thought hmmmmm......not too bad, especially from a distance.

Next I would like to paint a buff Silkie for the buff coop. [IMG]
The question for the artists is what colors of acrylic paints do I need? I am okay with mixing colors and I would like to buy just the minimum colors that would be required.

Here is one of my buffs for a color reference. [IMG]

How nice, and beautiful! Can you drive up my way? NY not too far away! JK, I was just thinking I have to find someone artistic to paint the sign above the door to my new run!
