I only got 1 reply when I posted this under the behaviors section, so I copied and pasted it to here: My White Leghorn roo (about 9 months old) has not been crowing as much as is usual of him. He normally crows every 2-3 hours about 7 times in succession, but for the past couple of days, he’s only done like 2 chains of crowing all day. The actual sound of his crows is sounding altered too. Is this something I should be concerned about or no? Also, this seems to have started after I gave him some VetRX because he had been having some respiratory issues (nothing contagious though.) Could that be the issue? He doesn’t exactly wheeze, but sometimes he (for lack of better words) breathes really loudly and kind of raspy sounding. It doesn’t seem to bother him and he can breathe from his nostrils just fine. It’s not a recent thing either, he’s just kinda always had it
