deep cut on rouen....antibiotics Help!

Thanks for the help everyone. I kept her inside, dry, and antibiotic ointment on it till the wound closed up. Luckily she did not need any additional medicine. Now we just have to get her to stimulate her oil gland and cover her feathers again. We discovered when she got into the pool and came out totally soaked that it can happen when they don't get wet for a while or don't preen the oil around. So she gets LOTS of showers through the day and she is making progress. Hopefully she will be outside full time soon.
