Deep litter method -- is it appropriate for a larger flock?

I also agree with the foyer on a chicken house. We inherited a chicken house on our property and the original owner added on a foyer. It has come in so handy so many times. I store the feed in there. They have a run that has a door from the foyer. They cannot get out of the main room without walking through the foyer to either thier run or to free range from the man door.
