What ever you use you have to rotate the methodology, Deer imprint, get use to something and ignore it. So you have to constantly change, I have set rat traps with apples BEHIND THE TRIGGER, so old deer has to stick his nose on the trigger to get a smack, Screw the trap 5 foot up a post, green apple works wonders. NO you will not have to remove the deer from the trap in the morning, ( knew someone would ask). Just reset and place several around, ZOO DOO is good, mtn lion poop from the zoo. human redmeateating urine, soap, ivory, and Irish spring, garlic oil, blood meal, even sticky traps with green apple, stapled to the post at nose height. Something to irritate um. I have used electric fence with apples skwered on to them. Deer will be deer. and your garden is a buffet.
