Deer Netting/Barrier

I can see this conversation is probably over, but I have a little experience with this stuff. There are two very different things people refer to as "deer netting." One is the cheap, usually green, thin stuff that is probably only good for keeping wild birds off berry bushes and LIKELY keeping chickens in a run, but nothing determined out. The other is the thicker, black, plastic netting that I have put around my one acre yard. It has kept the deer and other critters out of the garden, raccoon out the bird feeders and dogs in the yard (the dogs probably helped a great deal with the first two). My terrier could chew through it but it would take him awhile.

I'm thinking about using this higher grade "deer netting" for my run as well. Anyone else with any experience with it?

the thicker deer netting is what I have been thinking of using. The thin stuff is hard for me to see. I use it as a pen divider and topper to keep the flyers in. I see no reason not to use the thick for day runs or covers. I need to create small breeding pens in a large building. using metal netting is very hard to do.
