That evening the storm hit Silver Lake. It rain so hard that it flooded the lake and the wind was so strong it blew over trees. When Judah and David awoke that morning they where amazed at how much damage the storm had caused. There feeding grounds by the lake was like a swamp and trees had fallen all over there land.
Judah turned and counted the herd and realized that Dawn was missing. He frantically started looking for her but just couldn't find her. He decided to check with the other herds to see if they where OK and if they had seen Dawn.

Then out of the corner of the forest came a new buck named Nicky. Nicky wanted to challenge Judah for leadership of the green herd and to be the leader of both Yellow and green herd .
( Nicky is already the leader of the yellow herd but he wants to be the leader of both herds. )

Judah saw Nicky coming out of the woods and knew he was trouble. Judah quickly lowered his antlers and charged him hitting him on his side.

Nicky was badly injured but hit Judah as hard as he could with his hooves and stopped him just long enough to get away. Then Nicky stopped and looked back at Judah who was injured and sad. Nicky decided to forget about taking over the Green Herd and help Judah find dawn.

Judah excepted Nicky's help and went off to find Dawn.
