She has several splash growing out right now, a little too young to tell sex for sure. Three will be sold for sure, wrong comb color. But will surely let you know... After what Mom just spent on grain tonight she's going to cull out some of them very soon.

At this do water fowl and turkeys have to be tested?

some one I know would like to bring some turkeys for sale but I am unsure and they are also.

Hi Laura,

The swap is for anything related to agriculture. If you "do the shows", then your birds are already tested, so that won't be an issue, but, yes, NH regulation requires that all birds present at such gatherings be from tested flocks.

This is our first time doing just the swap with no show. I know lots of people this way do go to it, so should be a great turn out....

it always is a busy swap.
bring me 2 fav pullets, that will be great.
feed store prices, i hear ya, its sickening, and if you have to go more than once a week it stinks.
we used to use a lot of layer, right now its a lot of grower, so needed to go back for more.

Going to try again... Does anyone have any Dorkings or Houdans that they may bring to this swap? She only needs one of each, would take more but would be happy just to find one, prefer pullets/hens so she can keep them together.

Wow, been going over some of the birds. She will have lots sell. If anyone wants specific birds will bring them, going to bring lots anyway, but my little car will only hold so much, unless the Van is back on the road by than. OK. She has decided to sell ALL her Hamburg Bantams, she has Golden & Silver Spangled. Some of the SS have done very well at the shows for her taken many Champ. RCCL at several shows.

Most all of the following are 4 months and younger, none much younger than a month old.

Pairs of young white Indian Runners, can probably find Trio's too.
Couple of pairs of Bantam Faverolles, several extra pullets
Mille Fluer D'Anvers
Mottled D'Anvers
Porc. D'Anvers
Silkies (Sexes aren't known for sure on these)(Blacks, Blues & a couple of splash with off colored combs)
Cockoo Marans, looks like 4 pullets and a cockerel
Penciled Rocks
Red Pyle Modern Games, pairs only in these.

I'm sure we will find others too before she is done. Didn't think she had so many in there. No wonder they go through so much grain.
