As others have said, thin shells could be lack of calcium, or it could be due to illness, parasites, or a chronic issue. Best of luck with her! I hope it is an easy fix.

I agree with @DobieLover Caltrate is wonderful stuff to harden up shells that don't respond to oyster shell or layer feed. A week on Caltrate once a day always does the trick.
