Definitely NOT a Speckled Sussex, but what?

Hi all!

We ordered an assortment of 25 chicks from McMurray on February 10, so they're about 19 days old now. 23 made it and are happy and healthy.

We ordered White Rocks, Buff Orps, Black Australorps, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Barred Rocks and Speckled Sussex.

We thought we had 6 Speckled Sussex, but as they began to develop, one started looking very different than the other 5!

Both cute, but definitely not the same kind of chicken, even though they looked the same at a day old!

Does anyone have any idea what our mystery girl might be?

Well that's pretty exciting, if that's the case! Colored eggs... how fun!

Interesting that we ended up with an odd chick out. We requested not to have the bonus chick sent (didn't want and couldn't keep a roo), and in fact were only sent 25.

We got at least a couple of everything we ordered, but didn't order any Easter Eggers.

Oh well!
