Deformed Bill on Call Duckling

I asked about poultry vitamins but they never heard of it?...I have never fed yolk to any Birds either...I will continue as I have been and hope for the best..Its still running around...I will contact another supplier here and see about vitamins....

Sounds like the lil one is doing well in spite of it's lil bill. Hopefully it will make it fine.

I spoke with a Supplier of Calls and was told it could be genetic or it could be Lilys age...She is only just turning one...I was told to see how these last two hatches go and to not use her eggs till next year and possibly breed her to a different Drake...They never seen my condition before and mass produce Calls...It was a fluke.....Nothing to do with anything I have been doing....

Yeah it sure would ...Lily is not going anywhere...She is a tiny little Hen and happy here...Fingers crossed next year she has better success .....

I have a little baby hatched 3 days ago with the same problem - the pictures look identical!! What ever happened with this baby? Did it make it? Is it runty?

I have not seen it eat - it mostly hides under its momma. The momma hen is extremely fierce and protective but tonight I am going to move them to a different pen where I can monitor her more easily.

I hatched one with a severely deformed bill and thought for sure I would have to euthanize it, but somehow it managed and has grown into a funny looking drake. I'll take some pictures and send them in a private message to you.

Sadly he died at 6 weeks old and never grew a feather.
Stayed the same size.
