Just a thought, but since chicks are sort of rubbery for the first day or two, is there any way to straighten that little beak up a wee bit? Like you can for curled feet etc.... I wouldn't know how, but there might be a way?
I've had several differently abled chooks and dooks (I'm soft hearted, I know!) they do take more care and attention, but most have gone on to live happy lives. I had a little duck called Beaky who had a twisted beak that had the top part sort of folded back on its self, she compensated for it by learning to 'sideways shovel' her food, and was one of the best layers for more than 6 years
I'm always inclined to give little oddbods a chance, you'll soon know if it's going to have a decent quality of life or not. If it's drinking and eating etc. then that's all good signs!
