Hello. Im new and I have a question. I have a rooster who hatched last May. He had deformed feet when he hatched and he was also the runt, so I never worried about it. Yesterday, I noticed he was limping. When I checked his feet, they were dark purple and looked like they were dying. They were also so stiff they felt frozen solid and were colder than the rest of his body. Does anyone know whats going on?

Could you post some good pics? What are the temps where you live?

Welcome to BYC. Can you try to post a picture of his feet? Since you are new, you may have to have a few more posts to post pictures, but try anyway. Is it cold where you live, or has it been cold in the last month or so? Frostbite may be what is wrong, and the tissue could be dead. Do his toes look black and shrivelled?
