Our new baby duck has curled up looking feet, and a strange looking neck. Does most ducklings look like that as soon as they are born? I will post pictures later.

how new? right after hatching and still all wet? they are not cute.. they could look like you describe.. they were all scrunched up in a tight fitting shell, afterall.. give it a little time to puff up..
