Good evening BYC. Not even sure if this is the correct forum to post this, but let's give it a shot. So for the past year, my hens' eggs have tasted like dirt!! We fried them up and it literally taste like dirt, no joke. Their coop is extremely clean, the eggs are clean, they eat a great soy free/organic diet for years now, and they have clean fresh water always. I even thought it was the frying pan so I changed that too. Still, some eggs taste like dirt. I have a flock of 11 that all lay, different ages and not all eggs taste like dirt. They free range and have access to greens. Has anyone experienced this before? I have had chickens for 12 years now, and last year was the first time this has started happening. Thoughts? Questions?
