Cayce, I agree with FourFeathers...there's something else going on with his legs and feet than just curly toe.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to have to think about this for a bit... I don't think he's terribly comfortable in with the hens and the other roos (the roo's will be moving to new digs pretty soon here). He gets pushed around a bit and doesn't like to go outside. I'm torn about what to do really

You could still keep him as a pet...I wouldn't use him for breeding... A soft comfy blanket in a dog crate would make him happy...

Would it really be fair to keep him locked up in a crate all his life though?? My chickens are going to be moving into their new run soon - it's HUGE and I would probably feel terrible keeping him locked up in a small area for the rest of his life. No, I definitely wouldn't breed him; no way jose. I have another Cuckoo roo that I may use for breeding though; I'll see if I can get a picture of him to see what you guys think.

Or to give him someplace away if the others bother him.
