I got 10 sexed chicks this Spring. Just one Delaware, so nothing to compare it too.
Has acted like a little rooster since 1 week, but sometimes seems to have the shape of a hen.

Pullet vs Cockerel?

Depending on how old it is, I was kind of leaning toward cockerel.

I'm still hopeful about this delaware, now 14 weeks. No clear saddle feathers. No big curvy tail. Alot of comb/waddle.
I've included a pic of a EE cockerel of the same age(scissorbeak). Clear saddle feathers, big curvy tail.

Any chance delaware is a pullet? I'm really hoping not to have to choose between these two roosters....lol.

Cockerel for sure

Rooster laid an egg.

Well, instead of another poor rooster with a girls name. Meet, Buddy the Hen. She started laying big brown eggs this week. Very big comb and a very heavy bird.
