Another thing I noticed in my young Cockerel is when he was 2-5 wks old his shoulder feathers grew in slower. Had you noticed that in your chick in the early weeks? My boy is a light Brahma/Delaware cross but I have seen in alot of posts that boys grow feathers slower than the females in most common breeds
