Delaware over Dominique. Sex link?

I think we have two pullets and one little roo. Is any coloring, even single hairs, considered a dot? I haven't gotten a good look at the just hatched ones. I want them to fluff up first.

I'm seeing a head dot on one...it's small, but clear in the photo.

They will be single barred from that combination, so you might not see really big dots.

Some are ambiguous, but when I've seen a legitimate white marking on the head, it's almost always been a roo....I think I had one with a little "whisp' that turned into a pullet, but the whisp went away as she fluffed in a couple of days.

Gotcha, thanks! Up to 7 babies now, 3 eggs left. 3 confirmed roos, 3 confirmed pullets! One of the babies was still wet when I looked last.

Mama and babies are all out and about today. She is being such a good mama, showing them what to eat and drink and how to scratch. I think there are 5 pullets and 5 cockerels one "pullet" is questionable, her fluff is more dark grey than black and she looks like she has a few lighter wisps of fuzz on her head, but not a true dot.

I like this pic because you can see Mama showing all 10 babies how to scratch and peck.
