Delawares from kathyinmo

BTW there is a vet lady in your town that Breeds Delawares - Has a good line - i don't think they are as good as the KATHY line but they are nice. JFYI

Who? Jennifer Hummel? I haven't found any of Kathy's Delawares, but if I can get close I'll be happy. I love my little hatchery Dellie. She's so not SOP, but she's a machine with the egg laying! And runs straight to me every time I come outside. She's always been the social director.

I have Kathys line and am just across the NC border off 85 - we some times shop in Raleigh thats hoe close we are.
Bmail if you want more info.

I'm pretty sure you're referring to Kathy Gauthier. Chickcharney.com This is where my hatching eggs are coming from. I know this is the Kathyinmo site but it's full of great Delaware info and pics to it's my goto place for the best info.

No I think its Julie Gauthier - she co wrote the book " Chicken Health for Dummies" with BYC Guru ROB- and Chickcharney is the
name of her place.
I had some of her line and another line prior to Kathys - both other lines were above average . All those have been re homed and I am working with Kathys exclusively now.

Duh...don't know where the Kathy came from. Unless there is a kathy/Julie cross!

They're all standing around the scratch scoop ... PapaDel & pullets on the far side of the fence, Ruffles & hatchery hens on the near side. Of course one of the few birds still molting is right in front.

The sound of all the birds nipping at the pasture all around me today was so cute!

I know her! I bought a turkey from her a couple years back. Didn't know about brining, so the bird wasn't good, too tough.
