Delawares from kathyinmo

Brace yourselves for some cute.

We had a bit of rain here for the first time in MONTHS, so the chicks are seeing it for the first time. All the birds were super excited to dust bathe in the damp. Here is one especially adorable celebration.
Cute - they hanging tight to Momma- they look same size as Lonesome - can't remember when he hatched will need to go check my posts LOL
Edit
Lonesome hatched 6/20

The ones in the video hatched the 10th. They are nuts. They'll fight in pairs ... So long they exhaust themselves and lean against each other, chest to chest, necks across the other's back. Nuts.

I am looking for show quailty Barred Rock. A lady in a mountain cabin out of Blue Ridge, Georgia does not ship eggs or chicks. But her stock is up here in Virginia. Looking for that person with Barred Rock. I had gotten my stock from a man out of Georgia and sadly let them go, many regrets later I am looking to get them again and this time I will not ever let them go. I know the difference. Barred Rock are number 1 Bar None! Best layers,

I have heard @barredrocker has nice birds. That may be old info . He is in King and Queen. Not on BYC often and it may take a while to reply. JFYI

I'm still here folks I just can't follow all these threads. Hope all is well.

Had a Del go broody again. Last one was #7 but she lost her band so I don't know if it's her again. I'll spritz this one with bluekote.

They don't realize it's too late in the year to hatch.

Glad to hear back from ya.
Not much action because not much hatching going on.
