So I’m pretty new to raising baby chicks. I have two sets of silkie bantams. 6 that are roughly 5-6 weeks old and 3 that are around 3 weeks.
They’re separated for now because of the age and size difference. My three younger chicks started at pretty equal sizes and now two of them have doubled in size and are starting to feather out and one hasn’t grown much and is still pretty much fluff. As far as I’ve seen there aren’t any issues with bullying and the little one not being able to get enough food ... (literally will find him/her sleeping in the food bowl.) Is there anything that could be causing the delay in development that I could do to help the little one? Including pics of when I first got them until now.

Can you get some pictures from the side?
Are they Silkies?
Do they have 5 toes and feathered feet?

I think the chicks in the photos look fine - each is going to grow at a different rate. If they are all eating/drinking and active, then I would continue doing what you're doing.

They sure are. The bigger ones are just now started to get their feathers on their feet but they’re a lot more feathered out than the little one so I’m sure it’ll catch up. They all eat and drink and snuggle up together so you’re probably right, that one is just a little smaller so I’ll think I’ll name it tiny. 😊

Update on pics. They actually have 4 toes and the smaller one has 5.
