Does her breath smell sour? If it's empty tomorrow, she should be okay.
yes, sour breath, still full today despite me massaging, gave her acv and today I gave her some yogurt thinned with water. She hates the acv but will take the yogurt okay. I keep massaging the crop too.

Okay, yes, she has sourcrop then. Can you give her some epsom salt water? That might help her pass whatever is causing a blockage.

Give it orally? Yes I can but I think the epsom salt I have has arnica in it? How much would I give? She hates me giving her any liquids so I have to do it a little at a time.

What type of bird and what's the age of it? You maybe deleted some of the info so we can't really give advice not knowing a little bit more about it.

In the meantime, here are two excellent articles about crop issues. These will be very helpful!

Yeah sorry, guess I should have kept it, whoops!

She is a marans/olive egger, a few months old, hatched in May I think? One of my new flock that I thought should be laying a month ago but no eggs from them yet. Freeloaders.

Her first symptom was adjusting her crop and shaking her head, mouth breathing when I held her. She downed a bunch of chicken feed but then her appetite went down. I didn't know where to check for her crop and we went away for the holiday so she went a few days with no treatment, just isolated with food and water. Her symptoms were the same when I got back, she ate some grit and rice. I finally found her crop which is a bit swollen. So since yesterday I've been massaging it every few hours, trying to give her ACV and today some watered down yogurt. No change. She isn't drinking or eating but she's feisty enough to fight me when I try and give her a squirt of liquid in her mouth.
