Yesterday, I paid $410/ton for 17.5% certified organic layer feed, delivered. It was a corn/wheat/peas/soy mix. It's up a little from what it has been, but not much.

Mac, where do you get that??

Here:

They aren't too far from me, about 25 miles.

Where did you buy it at? You need to find somebody that sells livestock feed. You didn't say what it was, but that sounds like exotic pet food.

that is crazy you can cook the a gourmet meal for that steak on sale 3.99 a lb corn 4 ear for 1 pasta 99 lb thats 3 lbs of food in total for only$6. find a new feed shop
I've been paying $13 for 25lbs and thought that was alot, but I'm in New york City so I expected to pay more being that there aren't to many feed shops. GOOD LUCK.

There is no way I would ever pay $40.00 for 4 lbs of feed. That's $10.00 a pound and about $9.50 a pound way to much.

You would have been better off getting some certified organic steaks at the grocery store to feed them. It would have been cheaper.
there is know way I would call a feed store that charges 10.00 a pound for chicken feed
