Slinky

There's a woman who rides the 15 mile novice rides in Michigan that wears that on a t-shirt while riding her 16.2hh percheron mare

At my heaviest (320) I rode my 16.3 appendix/quarter horse in hunter paces (no jumping don't do that) for at least 3 hours and both he and I never had any problems. I also had rode ponies/horses my entire life and my mother made me take 9 years of ballet so I am a very balanced person. I still ride my gelding though he is 24 and semi-retired, but my new horse is a 15.3 Saddlebred. My current weight is 235 and though many would say I weigh to much for her, that little witch goes for hours and loves it. I get tired before she does. I also don't canter her all the time. Mostly walking and trotting. I have the vet out twice a year and she gets annual chiro visits. Oh and I use a mounting block to get on as I have a bad knee. So you can ride just find the right horse for you. Just my 2 cents.
