Hi, Robin. I'm one of your neighbors, in Lantana. I'm looking for other chicken people locally. I'm a new egg to this forum also. I'm looking to expand my flock of 4 and get a couple Easter Egger pullets. If you hear of any locally, pls let me know. I'm not sure about ordinances in Lantana, but I feel safe - I'm not too close to my neighbors, and have 3/4 acre. My chickens are mostly hidden in S. Florida jungle!

I visited Delray Beach a few times years ago - my Godparents lived on S. Ocean Blvd - they were right on the inland waterway - I remember how nice it is there.

welcome back, sorry you have to deal with all those rules and regulations, laws, codes and cc&r's & restrictions and dirty looks from neighbors. did we pay someone to come up with all these rules ? i've been voting since 1978 and i don't remember being asked to vote for or against any chicken laws. REMEMBER : if chickens are outlawed, only outlaws will own chickens
