Hello My name is Patty Anne, I just joined a few minutes a go and was so excited to learn that Deltona may allow a few chickies in our back yards! I am doing a happy dance right now (Chicken Dance)
We are wanting to move out of here to a more rural area just so I can start my Chickie Farm. I look forward to meeting all of you who also have a passion in raising chicks and enjoying some fresh egg eating.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I know of two families here who have chickens One on my street and one 2 streets away. Maybe they have great neighbors who don't complain. Still looking into it to make sure I don't get a fine for it.

Thank you for the encouragement! I looked into my city ordinance, and still they do not allow poultry here. I am going to join others in meetings to sign it into our favor. These laws are simply not right!
