Judy, I wish all the best for Robin and hope that the Good Lord keeps her safe and sound to come durring her tour of duty. It was so nice meeting the both of you and I thank her for her bravery and selflessness. She is a wonderful person and true American! We all owe our service men and women for making it possible for us to enjoy our freedom.

You and your beautiful daughter are in my thoughts. I know a huge part of you will be going with her. I hope this time flies for both of you and she will be home safe before you know it.

Update...Robin is now at Ft. Meade and will be headed to Ft. Dix soon for pre-deployment training. From what she has been told, it appears that she will be in just about the safest place you could be in Iraq. Huge praises to the Lord for that!

I'll update as I can...Since she's in intelligence, there is only so much she can tell me.

I so much appreciate your kind words and have passed them along to her. She said to tell everyone "thanks so much" for your support. When we were in the airport Tuesday morning, a young woman walked way acroos the room to Robin, shook her hand and told her thanks for her service. It was so heart warming to see a young person do that. Perhaps there is hope for this generation!!

Tell her if she gets a chance while at Ft. Dix to visit Whites Bogs, it is now a Nature Reserve and has tours. I grew up in there and 99.9% of the world has no idea what Jersey is really like and how beautiful the Pine Barrens are. It would be a nice break for her before she deploys.
I did 10 1/2 years USAF working Helicopters and some fix wings and Hubby just retired 26 years working jets. He was deployed to Iraq more times than I want to remember.
Thanks to young people like her for the sacrifices they make in the name of God and Country.
