I'm so sorry. Don't give up on broodies, though. The heat may have been the problem, if it's been hot there. I've learned not to give them eggs to set in summer. Oddly they do better when it seems too cold than when it's too hot, at least in my limited experience. Or the two weeks could be part of the problem. The usual recommendation is not over a week old before setting.
I believe the yolk and white ones were probably not fertile. I've never had a cochin; I wonder if they are one of those breeds which are more likely to be successfully mated if you trim their tail fluff. Again, no expert here. Here's a link from a sticky in the incubating and hatching eggs forum
