This summer we lost four of our five chickens (one last night). Our one remaining chicken is so depressed she won't even eat the watermelon treats mu husband put out for her. A neighbor has some chickens she can give us when she gets home next week, but I was wondering if there are any ways to cheer up our remaining chicken in the meantime. Thank you!

A mirror can work. Spending time with her too will help a lot. You can do supervised free range time as well. In cases like this, I'd give her the treats she likes and just make sure she is eating and drinking. You can do electrolytes and something like poultry cell or nutri drench as a boost.

If your chickens are being killed at night, I highly recommend an automatic coop door to keep them secure at night. I went through a similar situation where my entire flock was killed at night.
