I just bought to Columbian black tail hens and ask they do is lay down they barley walk around they just lay there and only get up to eat any advice on how to help them.

A lazy bird in this case your flock seems to be that way may indicate bad feed. feed that stays in the sun too long tends to loose its vitamins. try switching feed and the way its stored. another help is to buy Durvet vitamins and electrolytes. it comes with its own scoop and instructions to mix it in their water. basically its gatoraid for chickens pigs and goats its about 7$ for an asprin sized bottle.
