The main thing is collecting the supplies BEFORE you need it. It's a shame its so hard to find that catheter but it seems to be tough. @quackiemama needed one but had a hard time finding a tube. She's ready now though!

I was going to say it’s important she stay hydrated. I’d call the vet a see if they have what you need and will show you how.

Yes, hydration is more important than food at first. You've got to get them hydrated before giving food.
