Depressed

I really dont feel like they are cornishx. They just dont seem large enough. Maybe White rocks?? I dunno. I have 4 cornishx...they are 13 weeks, almost 14 weeks now. Just watch what you feed them, and keep them slim. Good luck with them, I hope they are not cornishx.

I was thinking maybe white rocks but judging by that feathering, they look to be 5 weeks tops if they are slow feathering. They still have fuzzy heads. My cornish were fully feathered at 6 weeks. Just that body stance says cornish. If they aren't on high protein meat bird feed, they can grow slower. Keep them on that and make sure they don't eat too much.

1lb is alot to weigh at 6 weeks for a normal bird. My 4 month old leghorn pullet weighs about 2 lbs and wyandotte weighs like 3 lbs.

They do look like our cornish crosses. We just butchered our 7 week CC yesterday and they were huge! Like 5-8 pounds. So something is definately off. Either not cornish crosses, not eating the right thing or they are younger than 6 weeks. Where did you get them from??

I got them from an elementary school that hatched them and then let out for the summer.
