Thanks Fud Lady, I was waiting to exhale. Whew. I used to love shoveling gravel (had a dog kennel ) because I could see the immediate results of my actions. Now I only get to shovel snow. Does that mean Moa was out in the mud also?

My coworkers will be glad to hear that I won't have to check the Derp threat every few minutes now to make sure Derp&Co survived ok.

Yeah talk about mud pits, it's been raining for 3 days now, it doesn't make a pretty mix with the red clay here. I slipped and fell 3 times already in the last 2 days. It's pretty funny to watch the Cornishes run out of their pen when I open it, they take the corner too steep in a dead run, then their legs slip out to the side and they go swoosh, splat! I need to take a video of it sometime, it's too funny.

Well I filmed them this morning, but it stopped raining for a little bit, so it's not as slick anymore, but a few of them still slip and slide a little bit. Sorry about the messy yard, I am rebuilding the older coop, so there is wood everywhere. Oh and sorry about my breathing in the background, I feel a little stuffy this morning lol

Thank you, I tried to not get attached to these guys since they were supposed to be meaties, but that didn't work out too well. Maybe I just need to be a vegetarian if I make friends with my food. lol

Glad to hear everyone is ok. Maybe I should stop complaining about the rain here, it's nothing compared with what you have. Love the excitement of the Cornish when the coop is opened.

Got my Derp mug, love it. Wish I had more space as seen some local breeders advertising Faverolles.
