Does the Derp gang like treats (I'm guessing so. XD)??? I just finished making a batch of cookies for my chickens. It's all from scratch, and I made the recipe myself. :3 Do you guys want it?

When I read this thread I finally figured out what "derp" meant. But my definition is very different from the internet.

derpy- (adj.) The quality of being very lovable, somewhat weird, and staying optimistic through trials by acting like they aren't really happening.

Does anyone else have a similar definition?

I do believe this is a PERFECT definition! You could submit it to Websters Dictionary...

The Fud Lady's Mornings
By: The Fud Lady

Every morning, rain or shine,
The dawn peeks through the neighbor's pine,
And the Fud Lady knows, without a doubt,
It's time to let the chickens out.
With food and water, treats in hand,
She ventures into Chicken Land,
Complaints abound; "What took so long?!
We're starving, starving, right this wrong!"
The Food is ate, the Water sipped,
Treats from fingers, gently nipped.
With crops quite full to burst, I'm betting,
The chickens prepare for morning petting.
First comes Moa, with whispered peeps,
Then on the shoulder, Chickadees.
With the perching of many chicken toes,
Coho snuggles in for a contented doze.

I can relate to that poem! Especially the grouching and crabbing first thing in the morning.Right now the feathery ones are inside their fairly dry run and Chipmunk, the rooster, is loudly reminding me that there are still poor imprisoned chickens out back here...
