i love watching them, although with my cochin hen, you have to be careful she doesn't draw blood, she really is in overdrive when raising chicks

What color faverolles is the chick going to be?By the way- this is hatching day for my favorolles- and other than one i gave to my serama- she has been broody off and on for a year, but being a micro just could get anywhere hatching, so when the first one pipped i put it under her, the others are under my bantam cochin who is the ferocious broody- here she and the first fav are waiting on the others to hatch- looks like we will have 8 of 10 shipped- thats pretty good!![]()
fav's are the only ones i am hatching this year, space is limited as i can't make the coops and pens i need, so i chose them - oh so many breeds i love, but favs stole my heartOH, I can't wait to see what it looks like grown up! I had a black fav hen... She was such a sweet thing, quite a character.
