I know that the fud lady must be super busy at the moment with all her duck stamp stuff, but it seems like sooooooo long since we had our last derpdate!


I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm getting a bit derpsperate for some news about the fud lady's flock!

I hate to say it but, all the characters we know and love may be long gone before the thread resumes. Derp must be a few years old by now and some of her cohorts have passed on. It just wouldn't be Derp without Derp.

It's something I've been worrying about too, drumstick diva. Derp is just over 4 years old now, (and long may she keep derping around!), but it's true that some of her sisters have already very sadly left us.

However, without wishing to offend any hardcore Derpaddicts, I believe that Nambroth's style and quality of writing are such that no matter which members of her flock she is writing about, her stories are interesting, funny, poignant and relevant to all of us other chicken keepers out here. Long may they continue!

As far as longlivity goes, i have had some that lived 10+ years, so no need to worry yet- for me, these are my fav derp pics
