Derperella, the (weird) Faverolles, & Friends

What can I say, the people have spoken!! I'm sure they will continue to speak the same. Derperella forever

I am so sorry about Coho passing. I am also sorry about your human family that had passed. My prayers are with you, Fud Lady.

No you didn't. Threads go through lulls now and then especially when the weather is good enough for catching up on outdoor chores. Even I left for awhile to attack weeds - just too nice out, to spend the whole day on the computer.

Don't worry Grimm, nothing can kill the Derp thread!

We all just wait patiently for the fud lady to find a few minutes in her hectic schedules every now and then to sit down and write us a derpdate.

It's not easy to do, but patience is a virtue (or so I've been told!) Actually, should that be 'patience is a 'derptue'?

Another word for our 'derptionary'!

I have a theory.
In a land far, far, away, there is a tree. This tree only bears seeds every thousand years, and only a fraction of those survive. It's name is the derp tree. These trees grow animals of all different species on their branches, and those animals all will be derpy. When an animal has enough derp in it, it falls off the tree, hitting it's head to get a little extra weirdness, and wanders off to it's next adventure. In Derperella's case, she stayed on the tree so long, she grew extra derpy. After falling off the tree, a little voice in her head told her to go into the box of chicks being sent to the fud lady. She did, and Derperella was born.

I killed the thread!

Don't worry!

I am just exceptionally busy. This summer I will be very scarce! I have events every weekend and stuff I have to take care of during the weekdays. All on top of my normal work hours, taking care of animals, gardening... etc! Yikes!

If anyone wants to read about some of the things I am doing with the Duck Stamp, here is a blog I am keeping. I apologize if I already linked to this on here:

http://duckstampadventure.blogspot.com/

At the bottom there is a link that say "older posts" if you want to keep reading... it's hard to see!

Nambroth- thanks for posting that blog address again. I knew you said you'd be busy with the stamp obligations in the coming year and I'd just been thinking about you and wondering how it was all going. It will be fun to read about all your adventures!
