I may not be Nambroth with a derpbate, but I must say that our little Scooter reminds me of Derp. Sort of.. She's runty, sort of slow, but very happy go lucky!! and had a hard beginning.. When she hatched she got her foot stuck to someone elses egg, pulling her leg out to the side. For the first few weeks she scooted around.. Thus the name Scooter.. Now she walks normally (Surprisingly). However the toes on one foot curl, because of how she walked those first weeks.. . But she has the cutest face.. When she eats or drinks a gap appears between her muffs and beard, giving her a very comical look.. She is an Easter egger out of the first big hatch of chickens out of our Incubator.. Here's a quick few pic:

I have just read this whole thread in two days. I do a lot of reading and this is by far better then any book I have ever read. I have laughed and cried and felt every emotion there is. Thank you so much Nambroth for sharing your wonderful stories with us. You are so talented with your writing and your artwork, Derp is how can I say it just so loveable. She goes through life being different but in her own special way different is a beautiful thing.
