Derperella, the (weird) Faverolles, & Friends

She looks more of a mahogany color, just not dark enough. ANYWAY! Aren't they just the best! Nearly all my birds have a faverolle parent. LOL, so I have the nicest flock of birds ever.

Snozzle, your pullet looks a lot like how Derp did when she was that age!! Where did you get her from?

From Meyer hatchery just like Derp if I remember correctly. My friend ordered some birds and I added some to help her reach the limit, but we lost nearly half of them during shipping and the ones that lived are a mess, luckily I only have 3 of these even though they are very cute, none of them even look like the same breed. This is Red's sister 'Seagull' who looks nothing like her

My faverolle [Sammy] has been acting very derpy lately

She's now 19 weeks.

Here she is displaying her beard in it's full derpitude. I'm so amazed by how big favies beards are! My EE has just a few tufts- nothing compared to Derp or any other faverolle!

Looking straight at Sammy's photo,- left side, does she have some kind of growth near her beak .? It looks round and either flesh(pink) or tan colored.

I think that's just the light I actually saw that too, but from a different angle, her beak if perfectly normal

you really could get a couple bantam pullets...they are so soft and sweet! not a whole lot bigger than a larger serama... my josie (serama) is about the same size as my bantam fav girls
