I love how they inter react. Talk to each other play chickens version of keep away when I give out treats the whole nine yards.

They get proper brave coming up to me, slightest twitch and they lose it, that's funny

When I free range I take meal worms out and sit there and hand feed them now I can walk up to them and they don't even care anymore but don't care to be picked up

Yeah I haven't picked one up, I'm too scared of squeezing them too hard, and last time I went to hand feed one I had thick black gloves on and it was going for my fingers.

Lol as long as you don't squeeze them you won't hurt them but I would recommend getting into the habbit of holding them regularly only way you will know if they are losing weight sick or anything of the likes. I usually do checks at dusk when they are roosting. They are very calm then. At dusk I can get mine to ride on my shoulders. Lol.

Well I'll give it a go tonight or tomorrow. I'm not gonna fancy my chances haha, I'm not scared of them it's just when I tried picking one up when we first got them she clucked loudlyoso thought I'd hurt her, fair play for letting them ride on you haha!

Lol mine make a racket sometime but they settle down quickly

I just sat in the middle of the run and tried to pick one up, they ran for the hills.
