I had to substitute another group of eggs for the person who accepted my original offer, because my hens just went on some kind of weird strike. I hope the "substitute" eggs work out for their recipient.

) I have had pretty decent luck with quail eggs so far. I do have 2 baby EE from the MonkeyMama in my bator right now though! Those were from the aussie relief auctions.

Blue NN x cochin
japanese x cochin
black and buff cochins
buff polish
BTW japanese

If anyone thinks it's a bad idea for me to jump in again, please let me know and I'll withdraw my claim and allow someone else a chance at justhatchin's eggs.

Thanks. I've been waiting all day to let someone else have a chance, and I finally couldn't hold myself back anymore.

I'm worried about a batch of eggs taking so long to be delivered (stories of eggs lost in the mail are flitting through my mind), so I wanted to participate one more time to try and play the odds a little better.

I've got eggs in the incubator right now from this thread that came from gamebirdsonly and they arrived just fine. They are on day 13 and the last time I candled I had 7 definitely growing and 1 I'm not to sure about. I'll candle again on Sunday to check that one out. It was the only swap I got and I'm pretty excited with the way things are going.

Plus, those are only coming to you in TX from Kansas. Not really that far. Mine came to me in NM from Utah.

i got two cuties from my eggs from justhatchin. the are so sweet. was having temp problems right at the end... just my luck.
