It's ok I finally got what i asked for and it is not stopping. I have 8 out of 8 eggs hatched and our of a total 28 eggs so far I have 18 hatched out and more cracking, not to say there are still eggs in the bator getting close to lockdown.
See you have to watch what you say or you just might get it. Well I asked for at least the eggs to be fertile. CHECK . Please, at least develop. CHECK. At least half hatch. ONE problem, I asked for them to develop for got to say NOT all have to hatch.
So when you ask for something don't forget to STRESS that one little thing. ( we are up to our eye balls in fluffy butted peeps.) LOVIN EVERY MIN. wouldn't change a thang. Don't worry IT might not look like a Turken. Keep telling it... you are not a turken, you are not a turken, you are not a turken......
someone told me the naked neck gene is dominant... so it will probly have a naked neck.. lol... and my kids will probly love it to peices... i just hope the other chickens accept it... not try to peck at it becasue it's differetn.. they did really well when i brought in the gimpy rooster... the peacocks had issues with him... but that lasted about 4-5 days then they gave up seeing that i wouldn't let them peck him to death... lol...
anyway... current offer *still* lol.... and i'm fine with it sitting there.. hopefully my Lucy will decide to start laying or quit hiding them.. whichever...
