I would definitely buy some stuff with my Skeksis done in your art style on it, if you're doing requests. She is extremely unique.

OH MY GOODNESS!! I just found this post! I love your designs!! I would be eternally grateful if you could design an orange and brown EE!! I would love anything you do (tee, sweatshirt, decal). I lost one this summer and miss her dearly. I will insert a pic of her.

Also, more chickens showed up at my house yesterday, so if you ever have some free time when you get to the end of your ever growing list of requests- maybe some gold and silver laced wyandottes? I can be patient

I know your list is looooooong, but maybe someday a Black Australorp hen...? I should have said something when you first started posting!

BTW, I looked at some of the shirts online... prices seem very reasonable to me.

Sorry Ive not been on! Ive had a busy few days.
Chicks are actually all going to their new homes today, but once that is all done I will go through the thread, respond, get to art ext!
Also the chicks new homes are all as pet chooks to children ^-^

AND I confirmed with the breeder of my lavender Araucana that the wierdly coloured chick IS blue because its mother is a blue-lavender. One mystery solved! Any babies from the pair can be paint, blue, blue-paint, and the 1/4 of mystery chicks who for some reason start black and turn brown, all split for lavender XD

To show example of the wierd black chicks Crowley throws.

Paint baby. Baby that started brown and is from a black hen. Baby that started fully black and is from a blue hen.

Ok long day yesterday. Chicks all at their new home, and the lady who got the older chicks fell in love with my frizzle hen so called dibs on her next babies XD

Its kind of bittersweet selling chicks. On one hand, that's one of the reasons I hatch them and they help pay for feed, medication, coop maintenance ext for the flock. But on the other hand, I get attached to my babies and love having them around. I do make sure the homes they are going to are good, and particularly I like them going to homes with kids where they are going to be pets.

I've got a couple people dropping around to swap eggs for feed (one bringing a bucket of scraps, the other always brings things like potted lettuce) but I can work around that.
So back to it!

If you want images for hens, I can try to do a reference for them too, but unfortunately the buff hens I have are of lesser quality than the roosters. They are not supposed to have such rounded tails, nor to be so light in colour.

I actually HAVE a silver laced wyandotte, but her entire butt is nude from her prior home (her old rooster really liked her).

Oh, so excited to see that! I don't have any (good) pictures of my girls. Just blurry stuff on my phone. They don't like to be still, and they don't like my phone to be close to them.

Dang, if I could just get some FILM, I could get nice shots with my (old, optical) camera. Sigh.

They're quite new, even the more established varieties of the breed have few good specimens when you first google them. I know of some decent hens that are of a different colour; could those be used, with colour substituted for a regular buff colour, something of a shade like those orps you did? So excited to hear they're coming up soon on your list
