Designing open faced coop with attached run for 15 bantams. Need advice

No you don't have to put wheels on.

Look through the coop pages here on BYC for inspiration. I think there is a section just for tractors... but small coops are often semi-portable. (Or at least can be hefted onto the back of a pickup truck to be taken to the new place.

Hoop coops are a great tractor or temporary coop since they can be pretty large, and still light, and not cost much comparatively.

That sounds good to me. I'll take a look and see what I can find. I already bought one of the green house frames last Thursday and it arrived yesterday. I plan on getting that one started this weekend. It's going to house my ducks, so it'll be a decent test subject for me to decide whether or not I want to buy a larger one for the bantams or if i need to find a different way to make a hoop coop.

If I do go with a hoop coop, where would I find hoops?

Something like this? Built for the same purpose.

That could work fine for the roos as temporary housing, actually, but I would feel bad for them not having much head space. It also snows where I live, so I can't have any flat surface where the snow would collect (I learned my lesson the hard way last winter).

I have a cattle panel hoop run, too. Also for my bantams. I can get some pictures of you want them.

Yes, I'd love to see pics :) Do you have an estimate of costs, too?

First thing above was around $30 total, CP hoop cost, I believe, $80. It is comprised of 4 panels.
