I just bought 2 Mille Fluer D'Uccles and know very little about the breed. They are 2 weeks old and cute as buttons! The guy has a friend in PA near the Poconos that breeds them and bantam cochins. On the last trip down, the buddy brought 30 chicks including, Mottled Cochins, Mille Fluer D'Uccles, Buff Silkies and a few others.
What I would like to know:
When does the Mille Fluer coloring really start to show? Pictures of babies, teens and adults would be fantastic!
What is the breed standard and conformation?
Is a darker color more desirable? More white? Less white?
At what age can you tell the boys from the girls?
Any other info you may feel is helpful!
